At HAECO, we take our commitment to giving back to the community seriously and actively participate in activities that highlight our role as a key player in the aviation industry. The 5K/10K Run on the Runway in North Carolina in March provided the perfect opportunity for our colleagues to make meaningful strides in the Walk to Win Against Hunger.

In late March 2025, sixteen members from HAECO Americas participated in the 5K run at the Piedmont Triad International Airport. The run benefits the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina, Greensboro Urban Ministry, and Open Door Ministries of High Point, all of which serve as a lifeline for families in need in the Piedmont-Triad region. Runners also enjoyed a close-up view of the airport and surrounding airfield area as they marched forward on the 9,000-foot runway.

We believe every small step counts, and we are proud of our colleagues for bringing us one step closer to a hunger-free world.
