Our HAECO Composite Services (HCJ) team welcomed two representatives from the Aircraft End-of-Life Solutions (AELS) to our Jinjiang facility in March. This visit was particularly exciting, as it marked their first-ever trip to China, giving us the opportunity not only to showcase our operations, but also to introduce them to the rich local culture and cuisine.
At HCJ, we believe that the strongest partnerships are built on trust, shared experiences, and genuine collaboration. While much of our work with AELS has been conducted remotely, this visit allowed us to meet AELS representatives in person, strengthening the relationships that have been key to our joint success.
AELS has been instrumental in our recent success, particularly in securing GE90 Nacelle assets and facilitating the procurement of a replacement tail cone for a Cathay Pacific aircraft in Sapporo back in 2024. When the aircraft sustained damage during ground operations, HAECO Composite Services quickly stepped in to develop a tailored repair solution. With AELS’ support in procuring the replacement tail cone and EASA approval secured in April 2024, our team successfully delivered a fully overhauled segment, allowing Cathay Pacific to safely complete the repair and return the aircraft to service. AELS’ expertise, professionalism, and shared commitment to excellence have been invaluable.
Beyond the facility tour and business discussions, we also made sure the AELS enjoyed local delicacies, cultural traditions and the vibrant atmosphere of Jinjiang. A heartfelt thank you to the AELS team for taking the time to visit us, we look forward to further strengthening our collaboration with AELS and exploring new opportunities to drive innovation and efficiency in aircraft end-of-life solutions.
