As one of the longest-standing providers of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) solutions with a proud 75-year history, HAECO is committed to minimizing our environmental impact, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our people, and delivering high-quality services to our customers. Each year, we publish a Sustainable Development Highlights Report on our website to showcase our efforts and achievements in three main categories – People, Environment, and Communities.

In 2024, we celebrated numerous milestones in sustainable development. This includes installing one of the largest solar photovoltaic systems in our Hong Kong hangars with the largest electricity output from a single site, surpassing our waste management target by diverting two-thirds of waste from landfills, and implementing global initiatives to reduce water consumption.

We have also made significant progress in building a more diverse workforce and acting as responsible corporate citizens by giving back to the communities we serve. These efforts are all part of our 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy, the aviation industry’s sustainability goals.
