HAESL Director takes leading role in the industry

In April, HAESL celebrated the election of its Director & General Manager, Ir. Richard Kendall, as Chairman of the Aircraft Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) for 2014-2015.

HKIE is the professional body for qualified engineers in Hong Kong and Qualified Corporate Members and Fellows are recognised by the use of the courtesy title “Engineer”, or its abbreviation “Ir.” HKIE covers all disciplines of engineering, with the Aircraft Division being the latest addition to the organisation. Entering into its third year of existence, the Aircraft Division now has over 400 Corporate Members and Fellows, 17 of whom are from HAESL.
