In December last year, STAECO received approvals to perform type 2C/72-month maintenance inspections on Embraer ERJ190 aircraft and 31100 Flight Cycle maintenance on Bombardier CRJ700 aircraft. The newly acquired capabilities further strengthen STAECO’s service scope in major regional aircraft types.
Following in-depth analysis of the domestic and overseas market, STAECO commenced a programme to develop maintenance capability on the ERJ190 in late 2014. A team of experienced ERJ190 specialists was formed through internal training and overseas “on-the-job” familiarisation. The core team’s technical capabilities and service levels were assessed during on-site audits and capability reviews by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
