HAECO Landing Gear Services has recently completed the first landing gear overhaul for a Boeing 777-300ER in China.
This achievement marked a significant milestone for the company in terms of capability, as the landing gear ship set for the 300ER variant is vastly different in terms of design to other Boeing 777 models. The project presented a number of challenges for the team. However, by demonstrating HAECO Group’s signature “can-do” spirit, the team overcame these to complete and redeliver the landing gear to the customer ahead of schedule. A robust recovery action plan and effective team-work by various departments within HAECO Landing Gear Services, were essential elements of the project’s success.
With its state-of-the-art facilities and a clear focus on quality, efficiency and on-time delivery, the company is striving to ensure continued business stability and growth in the long term. HAECO Landing Gear Services is currently performing overhaul on a third Boeing 777-300ER landing gear ship set, with a goal to set more ambitious completion targets, building on the experience previously gained.
