HAECO Xiamen Technical Training has been selected by AVIC International to deliver customised aircraft maintenance training for overseas airline customers.
The business partners welcomed the first group of students from Asian, African and South American airlines in August. The customised training was held over two weeks and consisted of a five-day theoretical module, providing a general introduction to the Chinese civil aviation industry, followed by a five-day practical module introducing standard practices in aircraft maintenance for mechanical and avionics specialists, as well as a familiarisation tour of HAECO Group facilities in Xiamen.
Established in 2008, the HAECO Xiamen Technical Training Centre has delivered over 225,000 student-courses to date, including 37,500 to external customers.
