On 20 May, HAECO Americas hosted its annual charity golf tournament benefitting Purple Heart Homes - an organisation committed to providing high-quality life housing solutions for disabled American military veterans.
This year’s event was held at the Champion’s Course at Bryan Park in Greensboro, North Carolina, bringing together 30 teams from across the Piedmont area and beyond. Through sponsorships, raffles and in-kind donations, HAECO Americas helped raise more than US$87,000 for the Purple Heart Homes Piedmont Chapter. Proceeds will be used to fund housing improvement projects for veterans in the local community.
As a founding member of the Purple Heart Homes Piedmont Chapter, HAECO Americas has been providing guidance, donations, and volunteers for the charity since its establishment in 2012 - participating at every level from steering committees, to hands-on construction and renovation works. Its support is particularly meaningful, because the company’s workforce comprises of a significant number of veterans or active military. Since 2015, HAECO Americas’ annual golf tournament has raised over US$360,000 for local veterans.
