In the first quarter of 2021, HAECO Hong Kong extended its long-term partnership with leading global air freight company, Atlas Air Worldwide, to provide Fleet Technical Services (FTS) support to its subsidiary, Southern Air. The FTS support service contract will run for two years and includes Southern Air’s entire Boeing 777 freighter fleet.
Southern Air operates 21 flights a week to Hong Kong from Incheon, Tokyo-Narita, Leipzig and Bahrain.
HAECO’s Fleet Technical Support team provides seamless 24/7 support, working closely with the customer’s Maintenance Control Centre to identify technical issues, manage aircraft maintenance requirements, monitor aircraft performance and condition, and follow up on any recorded incidents or issues. The HAECO FTS team then acts as co-ordinator between the customer and the HAECO Line Maintenance team to achieve the best operational outcomes.
