With Hong Kong returned to normalcy post-pandemic, HAESL was able to hold a Poon Choi gathering in late March to show appreciation for its employees' dedication and commitment during the prolonged COVID-19 period and to celebrate the company's achievements amidst the pandemic challenges. The afternoon event was well-attended by nearly 900 staff members and whilst many enjoyed the Poon Choi, the ice-cream truck also drew long queues.
The event concluded with a Lucky Money Draw and 50 prizes were given away. Night shift workers weren’t forgotten, with Poon Choi, red packets, and ice cream cups prepared for them to enjoy.
HAESL CEO Richard Sell expressed his delight in celebrating with staff and thanked them all for their contribution during these challenging times: “The end of the pandemic restrictions means HAESL’s company events can resume as normal: they have always been a key part of HAESL’s unique culture”.
