To celebrate the launch of its third-generation Flying Eye Hospital, Orbis offered guided tours of the new MD-10 aircraft from 27 September to 2 October, as part of an inaugural tour in Hong Kong. As a long-standing co-organisation of the tour, HAECO Hong Kong was delighted to help out by sponsoring the venue for the event and providing logistics support for the tours and a press conference.
Around 2,500 Orbis’ donors and visitors, as well as HAECO Hong Kong staff members, enjoyed the opportunity to explore the Flying Eye Hospital and learn more about Orbis’ sight-saving mission and the aircraft’s state-of-the-art facilities, including its modular design, 3D technology and live broadcast capabilities.
