In July, HAECO Hong Kong played host to more than 60 Mainland Chinese students taking part in the Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon 2018 “I Can Fly” Summer Aviation Camp. The programme aims to nurture enthusiasm for aviation, as well as a spirit of social service amongst Mainland students.
During their visit to HAECO, the students were introduced to the company’s service offerings, followed by an eye-opening guided tour of the hangars and support shops to learn about aircraft maintenance and the actual work processes. They also took the opportunity to visit the Practical Training Centre, where they could take a closer look at a number of aircraft components.
HAECO takes pride in supporting this meaningful programme and has done so since its establishment in 2003.
