On 25 April, HAECO Hong Kong’s Line Services team provided technical transit support to a special visitor: a Boeing 747 Dreamlifter on its first visit to Hong Kong. The modified 747-400 passenger airplane hauls more cargo by volume than any airplane in the world and is fitted with the world’s longest cargo loader. The Dreamlifter was on a special mission to deliver much-needed medical supplies destined for North America along with 787 Dreamliner structural parts it transports from suppliers around the world. It was just one of many freighter transits carrying emergency medical supplies that HAECO has handled since the outbreak of COVID-19. HAECO Hong Kong is proud to be a link in the global supply chain – a small role in a big mission.
