In October, HAECO ITM launched the first phase of its new enterprise resource planning system. The new Integrated Parts Management System (IPMS) has been developed by Ramco Systems. It enables HAECO ITM to unite a range of techno-commercial functions on a single platform, with advanced supply chain planning and optimisation; these include Customer Contract Management, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Financial Management, and Component Engineering/Reliability Management. Integration of the IPMS with HAECO’s existing business systems has also been completed.
The development of the IPMS was based on the standard Ramco Aviation Suite solution, which was customised to meet HAECO ITM’s business processes and operational needs. The system will bring long-term benefits to HAECO ITM and its customers through enhanced supply chain optimisation, big data analysis, and end-to-end automated processes in areas such as order processing, repair management and invoicing.
Following the launch of the first phase of IPMS, HAECO ITM is working closely with Ramco on phase two: interfacing IPMS with Aeroxchange, an electronic business network that will enable HAECO ITM to interface directly with its customers and suppliers. When IPMS is fully implemented in 2021, HAECO ITM’s expanded digital footprint will further enhance operational efficiency, as well as service delivery to its customers.
