Echoing the Swire group’s commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive working environment, HAECO Women’s Network was established in August to provide female employees across the HAECO Group with opportunities to connect and support each other. The Network’s objective is to empower and inspire women to advance their personal and professional development and boost their confidence and self-esteem. At the organisational level, HAECO is keen to foster a more gender diversified and inclusive culture in the workplace.
To celebrate the establishment of HAECO Women’s Network and encourage better understanding of its objectives, the first HAECO Women’s Week was held from 18 – 22 October across various HAECO entities. Activities included sharing sessions given by Swire Coca Cola’s and HAECO Xiamen’s female leaders, flower arranging classes, yoga classes, singing, quizzes, etc. The event received an encouraging response, with more than 1,000 participants joining the wide range of activities.
The HAECO Women’s Network will continue to promote more diversity and inclusion in the workplace at HAECO.
