FlySafe is a comprehensive disinfection service designed to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 in passenger and freighter aircraft cabins. Since May 2020, Flysafe has been implemented on several Hong Kong and overseas-based carriers’ fleets as a preventive measure and to further enhance cabin cleanliness.
In January, the Hong Kong Airport Authority implemented more stringent requirements for disinfecting and cleaning aircraft cabins. To support these measures, HAECO offered the FlySafe Cabin Disinfectant Spraying Service to all carriers operating to Hong Kong. Through the worst of the pandemic, HAECO has carried out numerous daily cabin disinfections supporting flight movements through Hong Kong.
