HAECO has received multiple awards from Hong Kong Air Cargo for providing outstanding support to the airline during 2022. Nine awards were presented in May, recognising the commitment of teams from HAECO Hong Kong and HAECO ITM to delivering high-quality services, including:
- Line Maintenance: support with over 99% Transit On-time Performance (OTP) and successful AOG support.
- Base Maintenance: completion of three 7C + 12 Year Checks, successful resolution of unforeseen defects, and timely redelivery of aircraft.
- HAECO ITM: component support, including provision of consumables and expendables.
HAECO Hong Kong’s Assistant General Manager, Base Maintenance (Operations & Projects), Eddie Chan, and Quality Surveyor, Wan Ling Wong, as well as Officers, Alan Wong and Neville Wong from HAECO ITM, have also received special awards.
Eddie, who has dedicated decades of service to the industry, expressed his sincere appreciation to Hong Kong Air Cargo. "Receiving this special award is a true honour. It’s a pleasure to work with customers like Hong Kong Air Cargo, who inspire us to deliver our best. Along with HAECO's 'can-do' spirit, we will continue to strengthen our commitment to building long-term relationships with our customers.”
Alan and Neville, who worked closely with the airline, praised the ITM team's collaborative efforts and expressed their delight in the partnership. "It has been a privilege to work with Hong Kong Air Cargo," they said. "We appreciate their support and trust in our capabilities. This award recognises HAECO ITM’s teamwork, and we look forward to continuing this partnership and delivering exceptional results."
