HAECO and United Airlines recently marked the 20th anniversary of their business partnership. HAECO Hong Kong first began providing base maintenance services for United's Boeing 777 fleet in 2002 and has since expanded to include other fleet types, including the Boeing 737NG, 747, 757, 767, and 787. The partnership has also grown to include HAECO Xiamen, which now provides base maintenance checks for United’s Boeing 777, 767, 787, and Airbus A319 aircraft, as well as cabin retrofit services.
HAECO Hong Kong hosted an event to celebrate the milestone, and a special memento was presented to senior representatives from United, including Managing Director Base Maintenance, Mike Arata, Senior Manager of Airframe Maintenance Strategy, Olena Manakina, and Senior Manager of Airframe Maintenance, Jose Rivera. The HAECO team was delighted to welcome the United Technical Operations senior management back to Hong Kong for the first time since the pandemic.
Commenting on United’s relationship with HAECO, Mike Arata said: "The extension of the long-standing partnership reaffirms our faith in the high-quality services provided by HAECO; we can see commitment from the HAECO team to developing customised solutions tailored to our needs."
Jacqueline Jiang, HAECO’s Group Director Airframe Services, also expressed her appreciation for the ongoing partnership, saying: "We were thrilled to meet our United friends again in person. United has always been a valued strategic partner, and we will continue to grow our strong relationship."
As the partnership between HAECO and United Airlines enters its third decade, HAECO remains committed to offering tailored solutions to fulfil United’s needs, while ensuring the highest quality standards.
