HAECO Xiamen completes Etihad A380 Superjumbo 6Y check

HAECO Xiamen successfully completed the 6Y Check on an Etihad Airways A380 Superjumbo in July 2023. After being parked for three years during the pandemic, the Abu Dhabi-based national carrier has announced the return of its A380 fleet to service. HAECO Xiamen, with its EASA/GCAA A380 capabilities, extensive experience, stringent safety and quality standards, and efficient turnaround times, is delighted to partner with Etihad by providing comprehensive heavy maintenance and cabin refurbishment services for the A380s, supporting the return of this iconic aircraft.

 

The teams at HAECO Xiamen and Etihad Airways collaborated closely to devise effective strategies in preparation for the A380 aircraft's return. The project was completed punctually, ensuring a safe and efficient restoration of the A380 to service.
