In October, HAECO and Shanghai Aircraft Customer Service Co. Ltd. (SACSC), a subsidiary of COMAC, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on airframe, engine and component services, aimed at strengthening support for COMAC’s domestic and international customers. This partnership seeks to fulfil the growing maintenance needs of COMAC platforms, including the C909 and C919.
The two companies have a longstanding relationship, with over 2,700 COMAC student-courses having taken place at HAECO’s training academy in Xiamen. Currently, HAECO is providing extensive services for COMAC’s platforms, including base maintenance capabilities for the C909 and C919, as well as repair and overhaul services for the C919 evacuation slide.
Looking ahead, HAECO is committed to enhancing its capabilities for the CF34-10A engine and C909 landing gear by 2025. This partnership will bolster aircraft maintenance capabilities in the region and contribute to the sustainable growth of the aviation industry.
