HAECO Hong Kong joined Japan Airlines (JAL) in celebrating their route connecting Japan and Hong Kong, which has reached its 70th anniversary this year. Through the years, HAECO has been proud to provide top-quality aircraft maintenance and engineering services for JAL, ensuring safe and seamless journeys for millions of passengers.
To mark this special occasion, a celebration was held at Hong Kong International Airport. The event highlighted the legacy of operational excellence and trust shared by both partners, reinforcing their commitment to maintaining the highest standards in aviation.
JAL operated its first flight on February 5, 1955, using a Douglas DC-6B aircraft and flying the route connecting Hong Kong, Okinawa, and Tokyo. At that time, JAL’s cabin crew proudly wore traditional Japanese kimonos, reflecting the airline’s national heritage and the rich culture of Japan.
Today, HAECO continues to be a steadfast partner of JAL, providing services such as Certification and Release Service (CRS), cabin cleaning, and pushback services. As both companies commemorate their successful collaboration, they are dedicated to supporting one another in achieving greater success and growth, built on a solid foundation of trust over the years.
